of introducing our sergeant dani el manning. there was a probation search on the home of a resident who was known to be armed and dangerous and narcotics trafficker. in the course of performing duties, sgt manning encounter the suspect with a gun in his hand. in the days prior to the incident, sgt manning learned the resident of 60 kashmir, was dealing narcotics out of the residents. they conducted an investigation and learn a resident of 60 kashmir was robert hackert, a man with a history of violence in numerous felony convictions. on the morning of february 16, a team of officers who set up outside the apartment to conduct a probation search. once it was determined that sector was in sight, the officer's watch for several hours as this aspect -- suspects came and left sparking a suspicion that he was engaged in narcotics trafficking that day. there was a female suspect that the brought to children inside the suspected drug house. at 10:30 hours he emerged from the front door and had a cell phone conversation before going back inside. at 11:30 a male subjects and to the house and officers took t

with a jacqueline the bay area moisture. >> for the most part there is lingering showers over the el diablo range. however, we can take a look at trader with improving conditions. the edge of your screen. and radar. other than that, things are clear. we are looking at the bay bridge toll plaza. mostly clear skies and we have seen a few lingering clouds over the hills this afternoon. and also fog lingering as we can see the visibility is certainly reduced. for the rainfall totals we have seen the rainfall for the majority of the overnight hours. for the bulk of the brain it was up to the north to santa rosa, and nearly 1 in. of that -- rainfall. bailey 1-quarter and one half in oakland. just barely traces in other areas. there is the tail end of that system with clear conditions. as we take a wider view of the cloud coverage and another storm is heading towards the bay area. we are not going to see any rainfall but we are going to see clouds that will keep things on the cooler side. for details on that, coming up. >> this gunman is on the loose in oakland and a store owner is dead. oakland police

. for a lot of people who follow politics, the fifth biggest county is el paso county, home to colorado springs. that is typically viewed as a republican stronghold. it is, but is also a big vote a bank for democrats. increasingly we have seen the ski areas that have started to trended democrat. the southwest corner of the state are two other ski resort communities that tented a democrat. host: a lot of focus on early voting in this contest. does colorado have it? what is it looking like? guest: we do, we have mailed ballots and early voting. we have already had more people vote overseas this year than all of 2008. like i said, we had 800,000 ballots returned. the republicans had a 20,000 ballot advantage. nobody knows how the unaffiliated voters are breaking. about 2 million people voted early are absentee and enter the 2008 election. that is expected to grow to 2.5 million this election cycle. keep in mind colorado has 2.8 million active voters, more when you look at inactive voters. about three-quarters of the vote should be conducted in colorado, maybe a little more prior to novembe
